Discovery Solar was established in the Northern Rivers NSW in 2015 by long time surfer, traveller, musician, and lover of nature and life Gary Edgar. Today, with a team of experienced engineers, solar electricians and experts, the company helps its customers through the entire process of installing solar energy solutions for their homes or business – from tiny homes to large commercial buildings in and around the Byron Bay area.

Gary has devoted a great part of his life to understanding the issues faced with mass-energy consumption on a global scale and knows that drastic change can come from each and every one of us by simply looking in our backyard. Discovery Solar provides solar energy solutions to all kinds of customers – from tiny homes to large commercial buildings in and around the Byron Bay area.
He has been able to expand Discovery Solar with his excellent service, expertise in offering customised solutions and simply breaking down all of the concepts, empowering his customers to make educated and informed decisions for their sustainable future. Discovery Solar is enabling people to take a stand against climate change by harnessing the power of the sun and using it to produce clean, renewable energy.
